New Mushroom Art

One of my favorite things to do after a rainy day is head out for a hike and look for mushrooms. They seem to pop up overnight—under logs, along the path, sometimes right in the middle of a trail—and I can’t help but stop and take photos of every weird and wonderful one I see.

That love of mushroom-spotting definitely inspired my latest artwork. I created a piece that features mushrooms and forest plants, and I’ve also made a few different color versions because I just couldn’t choose one! I’m sharing some of those alternate colorways below, along with a few photos I’ve taken on hikes that sparked the idea in the first place.

If you’re into mushroom art, nature-inspired illustrations, or you just really love forest vibes, I hope you enjoy what you see! And if you’re an art director or looking to license artwork for products like stationery, fabric, wall art, or gift items, this piece (and others in my collection) might be a great fit. My work is available for licensing, and I’d love to connect.

I love to take photos of mushrooms! This is just a screen grab after searching “mushrooms” on my phone camera roll. I have hundreds (maybe, thousands!) in my files that were taken with my actual camera!

Too much fun playing with alternate color-ways!
